Unit 8: Growing as a Christian and as a Professional
If you are a new worker at the child care center, and you seem to be in water over your head – don’t feel bad. This is normal. You may be asking yourself questions like, “Will I make it through the day? Can I stand this until Friday? Am I doing the right things?” Don’t worry – all new child care workers go through this when they first start work at a child care center.
To survive, first you must draw closer to the Lord in your daily spiritual walk. In addition, there are many training opportunities available for the child care associate. Don’t pass up on any opportunities to learn new skills that you can use on your job.
